My hubby "finally" gave in and we built three new raised beds last weekend for my veggie garden. I told him anything less than 6 beds was just my own personal snack patch and that there would be no tomatoes or strawberries for him! It will settle a bit but pretty perfect. I did a mix of two types of compost, nitro-shavings and top soil... You can also staple a band of copper around the inside edge if you have snail issues.
