Beautiful butterfly … finding this beauty was a bit of a compensation for not finding your fountain.
No dinosaur pics? It took us at least a year to finally stop at Spanishtown on the way to Half Moon Bay nursery. They have a freakishly large selection of fountains. Great pics of the butterfly!
Sorry you didn’t find your fountain, but at least the butterfly stuck around for a while. They fly off as soon as they see me lurching toward them with a camera lens
I got lucky this time!
I had a swallow tail dancing around my backyard the other day. Camera in hand I chased the poor thing around my yard. Didn’t catch any pictures, but the kids were amused!
I’m sorry to hear that you didn’t find the fountain that you were looking for. It’s always annoying when you can find something. But I’m happy to see that you found these beautiful butterflies. The last picture you’ve posted above is really good
Some people think butterflies are beautiful in the garden, and they are. But they don’t realize that they’re also beneficial to a garden. They pollinate the plants, and thus they help the plants to blossom.
