Finger Puppet on Shrub

I tried to think of a better, more clever title for this post. But couldn’t. This is a finger puppet on a shrub.

I was walking down Burlingame Avenue and saw this rare specimen of Finger Puppet Shrub – or ‘Finguarius puppettus shrubus’. Although I was in a food coma from the awesome Burmese restaurant down the street, I still managed to be an on the spot photographer and capture these amazing shots.

The humor of this sighting was not lost on me, and I’ve determined it’s from one of two things:

A) A child was playing with it, walked by the shrub, put it on said shrub, and walked away.

B) It’s the result of some weird sexual game.

You decide.

Definitely more funny than sexy…I vote for the kid. Although it’s something I might do; perhaps I’m a kid at heart.

Thanks for sharing this. We’re always looking for smart resources to share with clients and my coworkers, and this post is definitely worth sharing!

I vote for option “B”. They had to lie in front of the shrub with the odd sock puppet thing staring at them. Maybe it’s a decorative plant warmer. That or a hand-crafted insect barrier. You should probably learn to make them and sell them on your blog!

Yep, I’m thinking option “B” too. Look at the sick and twisted expression on it’s sock puppety face! Dirty!

Have you not seen woolly bear garden ornaments before.

You might be surprised at some of the stuff some people do have in their gardens.

Actually, it was probably dropped by some kiddie, and found by a public-spirited passer by, who put it a conspicuous place, hoping it might be found. And now you’ve given it some additional publicity.

Or maybe it was just a bear who wanted to become famous on the web.

Too cute! Surely it was the result of the former and not the latter…

Love it! I also think it was picked up by a passerby and put there for someone to find. Little did they know that it would find fame on the web. :-)
